I booted my machine the other day and got the above message at startup. As far as I am aware nothing new has been installed recently(withing the past few days).
At the recommendation of friends I defragged my C drive, I also stepped through the startup and the last command I responded Yes to was loading the MSMOUSE.DRV in Windows. As a result of that I removed the mouse drivers and tried rebooting...same message. Where do I go from here?

First thing you may want to try is reinstalling windows to see if that solves your problem. Most of the time you see this message, you have a bad processor.
