Very Basic Image Question

I saved a web page changed it and put in different images (edited it in word)
Was meant to be a practicel joke for a friend, the images were resized in photoshop, just to check I emailed it to myself and the images didnt work they just were those boxes with a small red cross, no option to show photo, the images were saved as jpg is this the right format?? Pity as the original looked very good!!!

Did the images that you put into the web page have URL addresses or were they on your computer ?

Try uploading the picture to:
http://www.myimager.com/
and that will give it a URL address.Copy and past into your document and see if that works.
The myimager web site will only host the picture for a short time, but that will tell you if you need a host site for your picture . I would think the jpg extension would be best.
Good luck
