Screen Resolution Question

Hi, I was just wondering what resolution/color settings are best visual-wise when using a laptop with a LCD type screen?

It seems my biggest problem is the smoothing of fonts/graphics. I can see every little imperfection. Annoying! :mad:

I've tried turning ClearType on, but the results were uh... yucky. Is there anyway to customize ClearType (e.g. darkness, font face, etc.).... or if you have any other suggestions, let me know.

it depends - tell about the laptop screen. What type of screen does it have - xga, sxga, uxga, dstn, tft...etc... also what size?
