Dial up Icon

When I create an Icon to dial up, it is useable on travel but when I get back to the office and connect to the LAN after a couple of days it is deleted or disappears any Ideas to fix this would be greatly appreciated.

Go to Control Panel/Administrative Tools/Services and right-click network connections - select properties and set it to Autotomatic Start up.

See if that helps.
