Hi

I think this is what your after...

hit Ctri+F (or launch Find Files/Folders) type in *.pwl and rename the file to .OLD (user.pwl becomes user.OLD) reboot your comp then when the logon window comes up put type in user (or whatever)for the name
hit the Tab button
leave the password blank
press OK

b4 you do it though, if you use windows to store any passwords then note them down now as renaming your pwl file removes all previously saved passwords.

Hi kaz101,

I have five .pwl files:

1)DEFAULT.PWL
2)HPAUTHOR.PWL
3)000.PWL
4)RILEY.PWL(thats me)
5)DEFAULT.PWL(two 0f these)

Which one do I change?

Thanks for the help,
riley:-)

Morning Riley http://www.cybertechhelp.com/ubb/smile.gif

gosh you have a few don't you http://www.cybertechhelp.com/ubb/wink.gif Start with yours first (the one you use to log on riley.pwl?) rename it to the .OLD extension. If that doesn't do it then go back and rename them all to .OLD

don't forget to pull your passwords out first as renaming the file means you need to re-enter all saved passwords..this includes you dialup password for internet access.
