DISPLAY PROBLEMS

Hi, recently ive been having problems with changing my display settings, whenever i go to change the colors or resolution it always says "Display Control Panel cannot change Display settings" Also full-screen games do not display right.
I have tried everything from removing all montior drivers and display adapters and reinstalling them, to do a full system restore but it hasn't solved the problem.
Anyone know?

I think its a Intel 82810 Graphics Controller on a Samsung Samtron 75V monitor driver.

Anything starnge show up in device manager?

Right click My Computer>Properties>Device Manager. Scroll down and click the plusses beside Display Adapter and Monitor.

Has your machine previously functioned correctly under ME?

Thanks for your concern, but after running a full system restore (HP computer) Everything works fine, must have gone awry after i altered the registry for more bandwidth http://www.cybertechhelp.com/ubb/smile.gif
