Cd burning question

Ok, I have about 165 megabytes worth of AIM conversations saved through Deadaim's Log manager(yeah i know its alot, but you never know when you'll need to check back, cause people lie) anyway, I think their rich text documents, I would like to save them to a cd, can this work? Im pretty sure it can i just want to be sure because this stuff is irreplaceable.

yes, it can.
Create a Data CD and save the files to it.
If they are really irreplaceable then you may want to make backup copies
