Ok just resently I reinstalled windows. I installed all my drivers from a package I made that all went well no problems. Althought for some reason my computer seems to running little sluggish I only formated my C drive, is it possible that my computer is getting confused from other programs that went through the c drive still trying to access or something?

Thanks Brad

[Edit] Sometimes When I try to drag something the screen will jump for a second then go back to normal

If you had programs on a different partition that used Windows, then you format and reinstall windows, you need to reinstall those programs.

C: is your main partition with W2K on it
D: is either a seperate hard drive or a partition on the main drive, which you stored some programs on right??

Please trell us how your hard driuves are set up. Also when you formatted C: was it a NTFS or FAT partition??

Partitioning depends on the drive setup.

If you have a blank drive then it is fine to use the Windows 2000 setup to partition and format.
You could even use the old FDISK.

Using these tools will wipe all data.

If you have a drive with data on which you want to partition then you need to use something like Partition Magic.

Partition Magic will (try) to partition without loosing data.
Backup just in case it goes wrong ;)
