Hi!
I keep getting this stop error when I reboot my Computer. I have w2k as OS. the error says Inaccessible_boot_device . I tried to reconfigure the BIOS but still did not help. I reloaded the default configuration also did not help.
Any help about this Stop error

could be caused by a number of things.
1.be sure ribbon cable is not loose @ harddrive or motherboard
2.could be a bootsector virus as per Microsoft Knowledgebase or damaged
bootsector or files (there' a bootsector virus scanner on WIN2000 installdisk
in the valueadded folder-put it on a floppy and scan)
3. download and run diagnostic utility from harddrive manufacturers website to
see if drive is damaged

" I reloaded the default configuration also did not help" -do you mean you reinstalled Windows2000? -if you were able to do that loose cables are probably not the issue.

you can try going to: http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=FH;EN-US;KBHOWTO&sd=GN&ln=EN-US
and typing in the error message-they'll give you a few more ideas
