i need the hotfix from microsoft but i dont have a registered version w2k
where do i find this hotfix?

need more info-when does it happen? can you boot into Windows or does this message popup before you're in Windows? Can you boot into safemode without being bluescreened or does it happen there too?
hotfixes are systemupdates for known common problems from "Windows Update" -I don't think you'll find one for your specific problem

What you have is a driver problem. You get this message when a driver or some other software you've recently installed is going "beyond its limits".

i am using SATA maxtor 160g.
confirm hd bad...however, i dont want to reformat HD.
what can i do?
