I was helping my brother-in law set up a wireless network and he has
a Dell latitude D300XT that he purchased through his brother-in-laws company. It has W2K Professional loaded onto it (drive is formated as NTFS), interchanable CD drive & floopy drive. I got the wireless to work on the internet but couldn't share printer & drives so I started "cleaning" up the laptop. I took it out of a domain, rebooted and now can't log back in.
No one knows the supervisor password and it did not come with a CD with the operating system on it. Fortunately they did not have anything on the laptop.
I am planning on reformating the drive and loading Windows 98SE onto it
since I have a copy of that operating system. Is there anything else that I can do?????
