web page not available

a freind has a wireless network setup at home.WinMe is at the base station and xp home is on 3 other pc's.All of them get online except the tablet pc with xp home. It shows a very strong network connection in the system tray so it is communicating with other pc's. When she clicks on the internet icon on the desktop the "This web page is not available" message appears and she can't get to her home page or anywhere else. How can this be fixed?

guessing they're connecting through a wireless router?

Is there a firewall installed on the laptop? Check that IE has access.

Also run a virus scan and spyware scan
