I acquired a computer with Win98 installed and wanted to do a fresh install of Win2000 over it. I don't have the original 98 disk so apparently, I need some kind of boot disk. Could someone tell me the steps I need to follow in order to accomplish this? Thanks.

If you have the W2K cd then you may not need a boot disk.
Insert the cd and boot the PC.
If the PC is set to boot from CD then the Setup will start.
If it doesn't then you can check in the BIOS to see if you can set the CD-ROM as first boot device.
If not then you can download the bootdisks http://www.bootdisk.com
Within the W2K setup you can format & partition the drive to get rid of the win98 installation.
(remember that this will wipe all data from the drive)
