I have a Wired LAN to which I have added a wireless network. The system uses a Linksys 4 port wireless Router which has 4 wired ports.

I have an ADSL connection which connects to the router and from there to all of the computers on the system (4).

All of the computers connect to the internet via the system without problem. The problem is that while the computers which are hard wired can share files etc, those computers which have only a wireless connection cannot share files with those that are hard wired. Similarly, they cannot share files as between themselves.

The wireless connections use WPA encryption.

Any suggestions on how I can get them all to communicate freely between themselves?

I am operating under Windows XP Pro. The firewall is ZoneAlarm Pro but it doesn't make any difference if it's on or off.

There is, of course, a hardwired firewall in the router.

Make sure your xp firewall is turned off.

Fist things you should check are firewalls for sure. After than the most likely culpret is the wireless router settings and the wirless adapter settings on any computers you have. Make sure your wireless router is set up in infastructer mode. also any wireless adapters you have in the "profiles" set those to the same mode. If the router is set to ad-hoc it just won't see the wired computers or network. Also make sure that all wireless adapters are set to the same SSID and the one set in your routers setup. I hope this helps you out good luck and if you have any questions I'd suggest going to the linksys website at http://www.linksys.com look up your router and seach the knowledge base.
