Hi Frosty :)

msxml.dll will need to be extracted from your wind_13.cab file... this is located on your hard drive at c:\windows\options\install

if you want the how to's of extracting you might want to check out [THIS POST] (http://www.cybertechhelp.com/cgi-bin/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=get_topic&f=19&t=000046)

good luck with the replacement :)

Hi
Well Kaz that didn't work. I am thinking I might try reinstalling windows over itself to see if that works. But before I do that any other ideas. I sure miss system file checker from 98. Like I said it is just a pain in the a$$.

well that's a blow :(

msxml is renowned for being the help center culprit when it's either missing or corrupt... replacing the file should have done the trick... my thoughts are minimal  apart from 'maybe' the dll that's located in the install directory is corrupt   you could try taking the file from the cd instead???
