Data Lifeguard need help

Hi, I have just installed a new hard drive, it's from Western Digital, I was hopeing someone could help me with the Drive to Drive Copy bit of the program, I have the drive setup so I can see it from my old drive, at first I was just going to use the new drive as a second drive but now it would make more sence to use it as my main one, in the drive to drive copy app I have to pick a source drive and a destination drive. in the source if I pick just C:/ will that be enough to get my new drive up and running like my old one.

How do you have it set up?

What I would suggest is
New HDD as Primary
Old HDD as Slave
(you may have to alter the jumpers on the drives)


Boot from the floppy into the DriveCopy program
The source will be the Old HDD
The destination will be the New HDD

Not used that particular program but I would assume that it will copy the whole Old HDD to the New HDD including the Boot Sector/Record.
You should now be able to boot from the New HDD and do what you want with the Old HDD.
