Scanner won't work in Windows 2000

Hello everyone. I am trying to install a scanner on Windows 2000, and the problem is that it won't work. It could be because of the fact that my scanner drivers might not be digitally signed by microsoft. The scanner I am trying to install is a UMAX Astra 2100u scanner. I get the unplug and eject hardware message too.

Try these drivers to register just use DRIVERS password ALL;
