I just changed from comcast broadband to DSL and am having trouble with the incredimail program. I can receive but cannot send. The help desk is located in India and they don't seem to know what I am talking about. I have instructions for using dsl with outlook and eudora so I don't see why I can't use Incredimail.
the incoming server is pop.sbcglobal.yahoo.com
and outgoing is smtp.sbcglobal.yahoo.com

Are you sure your outgoing is smtp and not stmp? It's a common mistake to interchange the m & t.

SMTP is the usual way.

did you follow these steps - special attention to step 4.
1 From the Tools menu, choose "Accounts."
2 Select your SBC Yahoo! account and click the "Properties" button.
3 Click on the "Servers" tab.
4 Under Outgoing Mail Server, check the box next to "My Server Requires Authentication."
5 Click "OK," then "Close" on the Mail Accounts window.
