I run of USB ports so I decided to buy a USB hub. When I plugged it Windows ME immediately recognized it without any problems. However, after I rebooted my computer and tried to add two different devices to the hub Windows Me did not recognized them. I've tried to add the manually using the add/remove hardware option from control panel but the computer freezes every time I do this. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance. :confused:

Hi... no one has lept to the front and I'm not up to speed with USB problems (having not encounted any ;) ) but you could try [THIS] (http://support.microsoft.com/support/kb/articles/Q263/2/18.ASP) Microsoft Article and see how you get on :)
opps... they also have a step by step troubleshooter titled "Is there a problem with the USB host controller or the root hub?" you can access it [HERE] (http://support.microsoft.com/support/tshoot/tshooterlist.asp?TPR=winme&SD=SO&LN=EN-US) then scroll down and select Hardware Troubleshooter, the "I'm having a problem with a universal serial bus (USB) device"
