How To Place The Generic Commands To Load A Cd In The Config.sys And Autoexec.bat

[b]HI.
I have some older computers that can not boot from their cd. I forgot the syntax for loadind a generic cd as drive d: in the boot up so I can use it. I remember that mscdex had to go in the autoexec.bat and a corresponding line in the config.sys to have the cd recognized and working after the bootup. I forgot the lines and what they should look like for loading a generic cd (the older ones before burning). Could you please email me the proper syntax for this in both my autoexec.bat and config.sys files please? I really appreciate your trouble.
Thank you very much.
Sincerely,
Miles mesmd@earthlink.net
