Welcome to CTH!! :)

Is it possible that whoever you are trying to send the picture to, has a firewall stopping files coming in? :)

Other than that, may it's she/he who may have an ISP issue, have you tried sending anything to anyone else?

You need to use Port Forwarding in the Router Configuration to allow MSN Messenger to transfer files.

Is there a reason you're still using MSN Messenger 4.7 when version 6.0 is available? It's possible upgrading to 6.0 could "fix" your problem, and there are features in the newer version I believe you'd like, especially since you're running XP Pro.

I hope this helps.

I've had similar problems with MSN messanger but it was usually the case of a firewall preventing MSN from sending any files over the internet. if you do have a firewall like zonelabs "Zone Alert" make sure you allow MSN Messanger to act as a server otherwise you'll always have problems sending things. Besides that, as it was previously said make sure whoever you're sending it to doesn't have a firewall blocking MSN, and an upgrade to MSN Messanger 6 could always help.
