The first fifteen minutes of the movie Wonderful Days is awe-inspiring. It hints to some money that was well-spent. However, I couldn't tell you how the movie is after that - right around the fifteen minute mark, the disk chunks up and becomes unreadable, despite the fact that the back of the disk is absolutely pristine. I've tried playing it on both a standard DVD player and a PS2 with similar results.

I've gotta wonder if you can use those CD-repair kits on DVDs. Sure, they seem close enough on the outside, but for all I know there could be serious chemical differences on the face of the disk and using a CD-repair kit on a DVD could utterly destroy the thing, and that wouldn't be getting me anywhere, would it?

Thanks in advance.

I'm pretty sure it's a commercial DVD, although with those crazy Koreans it's kinda hard to tell. It does look official, though.
