Hi guys! Just a simple question here. Do we really need Registry Cleaners for Windows? :confused: Thanks!:D

I'd be inclined to say yes, cos so many things are added to your registry, and they stay there. For example, many programs installed add files to the registry, if any programs are uninstalled, not all clear our those registry files. In time they build up, then I'd say slow down processes of doing maintenance such as defraggin' etc!! :)

I work for a large software company, and I can attest to the fact that registry entries are NOT always cleaned out when you uninstall a program or even dead entries removed/fixed when you upgrade a program.

As always though, be very careful when cleaning out the Windows registry, whether manually or with a program that is made for cleaning the registry....be sure and back it up first!!

if you do alot of installing then uninstalling, if you are updating your software all of the time, you really need some sort of registry cleaner. 99 percent of the time when you uninstall, you are not getting all the info from the registry. In time this will cause problems.

Can you tell me if RegCleaner 4.3 Build 780 is the same as RegCleaner 4.3.0.780
