Anyone out there have any information on creating virtual drives in MS Win 98SE or 2000pro. I'm not a programmer in any way and was wondering if there is a way to fool windows into thinking one of my logical drives is a CDrom drive.
I am looking for a way to copy all of my kids game CDs to the hard drive, installing them from the HD and eventually running them from there as well. I have looked at some of the shareware virtual drive software and have found them not exactly user friendly or reliable.
I kind of would like all of the games to be run from the same drive letter.
Any help or advice would be appreciated.
Thanks
