My easy access button icon has disappeared
from my control panel, these buttons no longer
function and niether does my volume
button.

I'm assuming that this is the software for your keyboard. Right? If so, I would reinstall the software and see if that helps. You, or someone else may have inadvertantly uninstalled it.

As far as I know no soft ware came with
my Compaq Internet keyboard is there a
site where I can download it?

What is your COMPAQ model number?

This one should work. It's the version I use.

What a dummy I am,I found that I had unchecked easy access from start up.
How do I delete the version I just
downloaded? I don`t seem to be able to remove it from my control panel also
my volume button still doesn`t function.

Did you install the version you downloaded or did you just Download it?

As far as your volume goes, make sure your sound isn't muted or anything like that. :confused:

I guess I installed it I have deleted it
everywhere i could find it but the control panel. I don`t have mute checked.
