Hi Brian M...follow the info HERE (http://service1.symantec.com/SUPPORT/tsgeninfo.nsf/docid/2001012513122239?OpenDocument&src=sec_doc_nam) and you should be sorted ;)

Hey dammit,

First of all, many thanks for such a speedy reply.
I have to admit that I completely forgot about System Restore.
Should have known as that's where the infected files are.

Having followed your instructions, do I now simply delete the files?

Hi again...you don't need to...they will be purged once you turn it off and on again. ;)

Was searching for the files only to find out that they have already disappeared.
Looks like I'm back in business - ( until the next time. )
Once again, many thanks for helping out a newbie to this forum.

Warning : I'll be back.
