Lots Of Me Probs - Help Please

I have windows me and my computer is all messed up. It freezes all the time. It is only 3 yrs old and it just doesn't run good. I get .dll error messages all the time - my outlook express does not work right all the time. Is windows me really bad??? What should I do - where should I start???? I've done the obvious like system restore and updates for IE. Help someone please!!!

What are you prepared to do?
Sometimes a clean install is good (one a year or more in some cases).

If you want to do this then you need to backup any needed files such as documents, letters, mp3's, pictures etc.
Also make sure you have driver disks.

Did your PC come with a WindowsME CD or a Manufacturers Restore CD?

As far as winme being a bad os, it depends. IMO if it was an upgrade then you will have problems with it. If it came with a major brand system, it is normally more stable.

Before you do any type of reformating, lets try cleaning your system first.

First run spybot or adaware

next run ace utilities, click on cleanup then click to remove junk file and cleanup registyr. Ace utilities has a 30 day free trial so you can use it for this.

finally lets make sure there are no nasties on your computer, download, install in own folder, run and post the log from hijackthis and post the log it creates here.
