reformatted and messed up

I had the intention of formatting WINME and installing XP. I used a win95floppy to boot, typed format c:, and then rebooted with the floppy. it shows "runtime error 200", and will not recognize the cd drive d: or anything other than the c drive and the a drive. so i cant runt he xp disc or even reinstall winme. im a little worried i may have done irreversable damage. i have no idea what to do now.

Hi brian ss - the Win95 bootdisk does not have CD ROM support. Try the Win98SE or WinME boot disk from here

Hi brian, not quite. Download the file to your PC and put a fresh floppy in your drive. Doubleclick on the downloaded file to create a boot disk and follow any prompts. Once you have done this, you should be able to boot with it.
