System Information

Happy New year guys.
I'm back with a minor problem. Running Win ME on a P4, 1.5 Gig and 512 Meg PC800 Memory, all on an Intel 850 MB.
I went to access the System Information area but it would not open, a missing HCAPPRES.DLL
The only new item that I have run is PC World HD-Valet. I know this thing cleaned out a LOT of stuff. In checking the setup in this program it should not have removed anything important (?????)
Anyone have any ideas for about this particular DLL ( Sounds like Hewlett Packard)

don't know what it's for but you can find a copy of it in your WinME cab files (Win_11.cab to be exact).

not positive , but i think it should be extracted to your windows system folder.

you might want to wait for someone who has WinME to confirm this BEFORE you put it there.

Thank you. That was easy to find and extract. Loaded to "System" and seems to have done the job.
