Boot Loader Problems (Argh...)

Alright well here is the lowdown.

I'm running a 20 gig HDD as a slave and a 3 gig HDD as the master.

My 20 Gig has SuSE 9.0 installed where as the 3 gig has windows installed.
When I had the 20 gig HDD as master, LILO nor GRUB would boot to my windows hard drive.

I have gotten boot magic and it does not seem to want to boot to Linux on the other drive... I would appriciate any help, and if you tell me to just dump linux I would be more than happy to but the schools are not smart enough to go get Linux so everything I turn in must be windows format.

Also... I can boot to linux via MANUAL INSTALL with the SuSE boot disk and Modules disk 1 & 4, but it comes up command line. If you cannot help with the boot loaders I would appriciate knowing how to load KDE or GNOME from the root user command prompt

EDIT: By The way... startx does not work... And am I supposed to have boot folders inside of /boot?

Welcome, Sorry it took a while for a responce. Happens sometimes

What one was installed first?

Normally you install windows first, then install Linux and it's boot loader. Anouther thing that I would check is your BIOS, make sure it is booting from the HD that has Linux on it. Then LILO and Grub should load Windows and Linux without and Hassel.
