Every morning when I turn on my computer, it gets stuck before it has completely booted up, so I push the reset button and then the computer restarts to completion. This happens each and every morning, without fail.
Does anyone know how to correct th is problem?

Do you know if you are having any conflicts? Have you went into device manager to see if there are any problems there? Try going to your device manager and see if there are any yellow or red symbols beside any of your devices. Check it out and get back to us with the info.

If it is from a cold boot then it could be a problem that i've experienced in the past.
What happens is that the BIOS loads before the HDD's have a chance to spin up resulting in that the HDD's to not get detected.
A reboot solves this and the PC boots.
Alternatively it could be a problem with the CMOS battery or IDE cable.

No conflicts in the device manager. This happens when I simply push the button on the computer to start it.

By cold boot, do you mean pushing the button on the computer to start?
When the computer only comes up halfway, I push the button below the on button which restarts the computer.

A cold boot is when you turn your computer on after it has been off for a period of time i.e: it has been turned off, and turned back on again. A warm boot is when you restart your computer from windows, for example. Does this help?

Thanks. This happens with a cold boot every single time. Then I have to re-start.
