I was getting a problem with my himem sys either not being found or currupt my computer now only boots up sparatically other times it says windows protection error and makes me restart, i have directions on how to fix the problem but was wondering if the orgin could have been because of a virus or worm and weather i should be concerned or not.
Thanx for any help,
Krouton

Welcome :)
Check to see if it is there.
It should be in C:\Windows\
Have you ran a Virus Scan?

Try taking out the memory stick and reseating it.If you have 2 sticks take one out for a while and run it then do the same with the other to see if one stick is failing.
