Can't View Thumbnails .

I have just noticed when I opened "My Pictures" folder all the files have their default picture icons instead of being displayed as thumbnails, even though the "Thumbnails" option is selected in the "View" menu !? Everthing was okay previously .

It's the same in the other folders I have with jpeg or jpg files in .

I have tried de-selecting then re-selecting thumbnails, but nothing . I've even rebooted still no luck .

I use the latest version of Irfanview if that helps solve the puzzle, and all formats are checked .

since your running ME
heres what you do right click on any jpeg and select open with, then chose chose program then look for image preview and make sure you click on (always open with) then click on image preview and click ok this should reset you back.

I'm sorry for the late responce Ironside .

I'm sorry, but I think you've miss understood . The jpegs are not being displayed as little thumbnail pictures even though i have it selected in the view menu, instead they are being displayed as icons .
