this is an often debated and confusing question. please make sure that your reason is concrete before replying.

in a domain you have 3 domain controllers and 25 NT workstations. there are roaming profiles defined for all user accounts. these profiles are mandatory. the server on which the profiles reside goes down. what will happen.

1. users will not be able to logon to the domain
2. users will successfully logon to the domain and receive the default user profiles.

the other two options are useless.

please make sure that the answer is 100% right.

thanks.

this is a mcse question that i'd asked.

the problem is that the question has not been properly presented. also with microsoft one doesn't make assumptions if one intends on clearing the exams.

the right answer to the question by majority consessus is that a user cannot logon to the domain.

i think that this should close this thread of discussion unless the moderator would like to put in the summary of the discussion.
