i want to reformat my hard drive and reinstall win2000 on it. i have a promise fasttrack66 with 2 ibm hard drives in a raid 0 config. i have successfully intstalled win2k before with this exact configuration so i know it works. the new promise drivers for the fasttrack do not work as win2k doesn't see any hard drives when i run the install program. one of their older drivers (with a workaround) had worked for me, but they no longer post it on their web site and i don't have the floppy with those drivers anymore. Can anybody help?

As far as I remember www.mrcs.net (http://www.mrcs.net) MrC just upgraded to a promise100 from the 66, you may ask him http://www.cybertechhelp.com/ubb/smile.gif

If you email me @ timothy_f_gallagher@yahoo.com I will send you the drives. I have that same card.

You may have to upgrade your BIOS.

Before doing that however:

Try copying the Promise drivers to a floppy from the installation CD that comes with your motherboard. Otherwise you can download the drivers from the Promise site. When running the W2k install you will at an early point in the process be given the option to press F6 and provide the install program with the appropriate drivers.
