Screen Resolution..........

I posted on 22nd April re:startup problems. Thanks to Degsy for getting system back up. But.........
I cannot change the screen resolution from 640 x 480 now. That's the only option I have in display properties.
The manufacturers reload CD won't work without the "original recovery diskette" they supplied, which I have lost.
Any other ideas?:(

You need to find out what graphics you have.

If it is a Brand Name PC (HP, Dell etc.) then try their website for the drivers.

If they are onboard (motherboard) then goto the Motherboard manufacturers site.
If it is a Card then goto the Graphics Card manufacturers site.

Their site doesn't list machine.

I have managed to get a Time drivers CDROM but it won't load - any ideas?

OPen Windows Explorer, goto the CD drive.
Can you see the CDROM contents?
