(1) Dazuko the on demand driver module (2) AntiVir the anti virus software with avguard (3) tkantivir the tcl/tk graphical front end for AntiVir The important thing here, if you want the on demand scanner, is that dazuko must be compiled into your kernel. The instructions for this can be found on the dazuko-how to page. Then, once AntiVir is installed and you have the free license key , make a directory called linux-2.4 XX (your particular kernel ) and copy the dazuko module to it. You will be asked if you want to load dazuko on start up during the AntiVir installation. Aside from configuring AntiVir and tkantivir for your particular system, that is it. Happy virus scanning. |

I have had a lot of positive experience with antivir: it worked, started scanning, and found nothing. Time after time, it found nothing.
Suppose it was the firewall that blocked things. Pity it isn't free anymore.
