Deleted a few files now im buggered

Hi there,
Im a newbie, as you might tell, and last night i was doing a little spring cleaning on our pc, and deleted a few files from C:My computer that where " cluttering" up the place, however when i restarted the pc, a get a quick flash of the windows start up page then the dos screen apears with the following...
C:WINDOWS\COMMAND.COM
I tried typing this and then C:\ prompt comes up....
I dont know what ive done, all i know is i wish i hadnt. Any suggestions on how to get windows 98 up and running again.
Please help me, my missus is back from a trip tommorow and if she finds out ive buggered HER computer up im stuffed...

Bootup with a Win98 Startup disk.
At the A:\> prompt type SYS C: and press enter

If you dont have a startup disk then get one from http://www.bootdisk.com/bootdisk.htm

Thanks for the swift reply, am at work at the moment but will try when i get home. Just out of intrest will this boot windows?

There are 3 files needed to boot windows.

iosys.sys
msdos.sys
command.com

The sys command copies these from the startup floppy to your PC.
PC should boot fine after that.
