I am having video/audio problems with my computer. When I check "System Information" I find that I have a problem device. The device is identified as "TCP/IP NetTrans".
The problem is identified as "Code=11 [0xB]", and that there is a Device Failure.
The suggestion is that I try changing the driver for the device, and if that doesn't work to see the hardware documentation. 6 drivers are listed.
Several questions come to mind:
What does "Code=11" mean?
What function does the device perform?
Which of the 6 drivers should be replaced, and with what?
Where can I find the hardware documentation?

Hi Tom,

It sounds like you either need to install the most recent drivers for the network card, or the network card may be damaged and need to be replaced. Go the network card manufacturer's website and d/load then install the most recent drivers.

Thanks. Greta. I'll give that a try.

You're welcome. Let me know if that solves the problem or not.
