I am having some serious problems with my keyboard in Windows 2000. All of a sudden it won't work at all. Under "System Information," it lists the keyboard under "Problem Devices". The error code is 24, which is a Device PNP Device Error Code. I know the connection is good because at startup, Num Lock, Caps Lock, and Scroll Lock all flash little green lights on the keyboard. This all started when I un-installed WordPerfect and installed Microsoft Office 2000.

UPDATE: I have tried removing the keyboard from device manager and then re-booting and letting Win2k re-detect my keyboard. This doesn't work. Windows does re-install it, but it isn't fixed. Last night, my virus scanner found a virus called JOKE SMALLPEN. I don't know if this had anything to do with this. The keyboard acts like it isn't getting any power. The green "Caps Lock" light doesn't light up when the Caps Lock button is pushed. The whole thing acts dead. This problem happens at startup, in DOS too. Any ideas?

Thanks.
