Hey,
This should work tho I must confess I haven't tried it as of yet myself :)
Go to your OE message folder which should be ....
C:\Documents and Settings\YourName\Local Settings\Application Data\Identities\(Long alphanumerical number)\Microsoft\Outlook Express
Copy and save to a safe media (zip, CD, other HDD) all the *dbx files.
Like I said I haven't tried backing up my messages before on Win2k but that should do the trick.
When it comes to using your old messages again Click in OE File > Import > Messages > Outlook Express (your version should be 5) then import from an OE store directory and browse to your backed up message files from the previous step.
You will then have a choice of which folders to import.
Please let us know how it goes :)
