tried to install some new fonts

had to reboot to finish it because I have had a problem installing fonts ever since I installed a font viewer program that caused some problems and I have since taken it off my Comptuer

after turning it back on it stopped on the windows screen..sat there a good five mins so I turned comp on and off

NOW it goes to the chose how to log on...if you choose normal it does nothing..you choose safe mode..you get the it is now safe to turn off your computer every time!

try restoring to a restore point dated prior to installing the fonts.

how do I do that?

this all happened just this morning what all else would be lost if I did that?

When you boot hit f8 as soon as you power on and keep hitting it fast until it beeps, maybe you will go to a menu that gives you choices, click on the one that says something about boot to the last good configuation or something like that.

otherwise,

all you are doing is restoring your registry. Everything you installed should be okay. Just use the date the day before you installed the fonts.

I do not have winme so the path might be a little off but since you can get into safemode, go to start - all programs - accessories - system tools

or if you go to help, search for restore point
