O.K. Here is a more detailed explanation of my problem. When I first start the computer up everything is working fine. However once the computer goes into standby, and I turn it back on, everything is slow. The most obvious thing is how slow the mouse goes across the screen. The weird part is, that on the main page of this site for example, the mouse moves at regular speed, once I enter one of the forums however, everything is slow. Any ideas.

Have you tried running Spybot Search and Destroy and Ad-aware? If not Download and install both of them. Before running them get the updates first. Then run Spybot after its finished check the boxes beside each item and click fix problems. Then close it. Then run ad-aware after updating after its done make sure all boxes are checked and click next, then next again, then close it. Then check to see if your system is running better. You can always download and install CWShredder, then update it and click fix. If you have any spyware, worms or trojans that should take care of them.
