I have a friend of mine who is an admin at his company (small LAN about 20 users running NT as the network OS). He is experiencing a RAS issue. Claims its not authenticating his remote users anymore. His RAS server is able to communicate with the PDC/BDC and vice versa. When his users dial in he's not even sure they're connecting, or maybe theyre connecting but not getting authenticated. Looking at the RAS server logs there aren't any "failed" transactions.
Any ideas? Need more info?

Hey moderator, you can close this thread, my buddy figured it out. Here's the resolution in case anyone cares:

I was able to get the VPN working and I figured out what was happening
with the dial-in numbers. The VPN needs 2 NAT entries in the router to
function properly the first is port 1723 tcp and the second is port 0 on
protocol 47 (GRE). Once I figured this out the VPN started working. For the
dial-in numbers I have some internal problems with the fire and burglar alarm
being on the same lines.
