When I run a movie clip of any kind either with Real or Windows Media. I get a memory dump with this message.
***STOP: 0x0000001E (0xC0000005 , 0x00000000 , 0x00000000 , 0x00000000) KMODE_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED

What is going on? How do I fix it?
Thanks

Hi,

Windows 2000 I'll have to presume seeing as you didn't mention which OS you are referring to.

Take a read of the following article :
>>Click Here<< (http://www.microsoft.com/WINDOWS2000/en/messages/5267.htm)

Have you checked to make sure ALL you hardware is compatible with windows 2000 ?

Also make sure that you are using the proper Windows 2000 drivers for all your hardware.

If you are overclocking return your system to its default settings.

Check your Event Log and/or keep Dr Watson running whilst you get the error so you can see what's causing the error.

I'm sorry I am running NT4 SP6a.
The event log just repeats the same stop message I get on the blue screen.

Hi,

Ok well heres a MS troubleshooter for this specific error on NT >>Click Here<< (http://support.microsoft.com/support/kb/articles/Q275/6/78.ASP)

I think this should be of some help to you :)

Well, after much reading, rebooting and lots of help from you, I had to reinstall the original vga driver in place of the upgrade I had made. Thanks for helping the nearly incompetent and feeble-minded ones out here. :)
