uninstalling win 3.1

How does one uninstall windows 3.1 in such a way as to be able to install another version of windows? This is because we tried to format the hard disk but after that it could not even accept dos 6.22 diskettes. It complained about an invalid system disk. :(

You did use the format /s option I presume ?

Have you tried fdisking and formatting with a DOS 5.0 or with the 6.22 disk ? :confused:
