freezes on start up every time

it works ok if i shut off and reboot..also get message un able to register admin tool discovery admin may not be able to see this server ran the virus scan too and it found troj ncx99a in 2 locations and i deleted these files interesting that norton did not find this before.any idias? thanks ! :rolleyes:

ok, assuming that since you're putting this in the Win2K forum, you're running windows 2000, ok, what you might wanna try is starting up with your windows 2000 cd, make sure you hit space or something so that it boots with the cd, then run the repair option, then tell us the results.
