DriveImage 7.0 difficulties

Hello. On a PC with two HDs, Windows sits on C: and the PC boots from there, but when I installed DriveImage 7 I installed it to drive D:, the other HD. THEN -- HD2 died. I want to reinstall DI7 but the machine knows of the previous install, and cannot uninstall it as that drive is in the bin! Please help if you can - all submissions gratefully received.

Is there an exact error message?

It would seem that you will have to clean any references to it from the registry.
You could do this manually, but a tool such as Ace Utilities will remove reg entries to missing files & folders.

So, firstly I would try Ace Utilities

If that doesn't work I would try searching the Registry for any reference of DriveImage.

I would guess that one of the entries to remove would be similar to
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\PowerQuest\DriveImage

Rememer to backup the registry or create a Restore Point.
