i am VERY new to this---so what i have managed to do is install three programs on my computer. one actually didn't even fully install. i am using the windows 2000 pro, and i am having problems starting up, and i suspect it is from the partitions. how do i delete the other two programs from my computer, and can you go step by step, as i am still basically learning!! :confused: :confused: :eek:

Are you loggin on to your computer with the administrator account or are you loging on with a user account.
To remove any program, it is best to be logged on as the Administrator. Go to start > settings > control panel > add & remove programs > highlight the program you wish to remove and click on the remove button. That should remove the program for you.
i suspect it is from the partitions.
How many partitions do you have? In all honesty, having multiple partitions on your computer will not create problems such as you are having.
