Welcome :)

Trere are many programs about which will do what you want.

I assume you are talking about the "splash" screen?

For Win95 & 98, instructions are here (http://www.cybertechhelp.com/html/tutorials/tutorial.php/id/29).

For XP, which is more difficult, take a look at tinsplash v0.0.6 (http://www.desktopian.org/tinsplash.html). I haven't used it so I don't know whether it works.

I have used this program. Simple enough to use and it didn't cause any problems change between bootsreens.

Hi gamble809, welcome to Cybertechhelp.
The instructions given above will enable you to display a custom screen during the Operating System boot up phase of your boot up but I believe may not help in replacing the manufacturers logo which appears as a mask over the BIOS POST part of he boot up process.

You can get a couple of utilities for INTEL motherboards here (http://developer.intel.com/design/motherbd/gen_indx.htm) that will allow you to change them.
